The sound of rain as it pounds on the ground
The thicket and bushes where treasure is found
The power that the blazing fire brings
These are a few of my favourite things

The smell of old books stacked up high in the case
The rumble and tumble of thunder and base
The moonlit beams of a winter fresh spring
These are a few of my favourite things

Cheesecake and candy and the dark fall of night
Bright stars that twinkle in the brilliant twilight
Creatures that stir on their bug bat-like wings
These are a few of my favourite things

When spiders bite
When wasps sting
When I'm feeling sad
I simple remember my favourite things
And then I don''t feel so bad.
This is my version of the song "My Favourite Things'. My drama teacher had us form into groups and re-write the song to fit ourselves. No real idea why.

At any rate, I hated my group (though I still went up with them anyway) so I wrote my own version. I didn't say it in class but I really like it so I decided to post it.

My Favourite Things belongs to the owners and creators of the Sound of Music.

Somehow, this version relates to me more than the original song XD I like it~ The rhyming is cool, in my opinion~ I wish I could write like this =O
